kids will enjoy this. probably ages 12 and under. not sure if the older ones will.

The boneyard is one of the most amazing out of the world experiences in Disney world, that reverts you back to the ages of dinosaur or turns your kids into little excavators. Boneyard literally means graveyard. Boneyard reverts you back to the pre historic ages of dinosaurs and the T-rex. While parents can relax on the scenic natural surrounding, kids can slide and crawl in creepy dark territories, or come across extinct giants like the T-rex and other dinosaurs. Kids can even excavate wooly mammoths. It’s a great place for kids and for parents who don’t mind soiling their clothes and sharing the kid within themselves with their kids.

So if you have decided to give your kids some adventure, thrill and education at the boneyard, make sure that you are carrying extra clothes for your kids. And if your kid has symptoms of nyctophobia (fear for the dark), claustrophobia (enclosed spaces), or other specific fears like arachnophobia or ophidiophobia, i.e., fear for spiders and snakes, you can skip this part of the Disney world. To round it off, it’s a great place for fun and adventure while being educative.

The Boneyard is something kids of all ages will enjoy. In this attraction, the kids can explore and get fascinated with the bones and fossils in the yard. This boneyard is an imitation of a dig site. It is complete with rope ladders, tunnels and slides. There are varying degrees of difficulty in exploring the yard. Several fossils can be explored in this yard. The site also contains detailed information about each fossil making the experience really educational.

Children who are inquisitive should be taken to The Boneyard. They have a variety of activities that increase and feed their curiosity about the fossils and things that are from a bygone age. Summer and spring are the ideal time for such activities and schools can take their entire class to this. The boneyard is wheel chair accessible and all kids of all ages can participate in the games and exploration that happen in the Boneyard.
